Strategic counsel for principals at the intersection of geospatial intelligence and global risk.
Advisory from the operator seat — not the consultant bench.
CDG advises at the inflection points where capital, capability, and consequence intersect — the fundraising round that must clear, the pricing architecture that determines whether a company scales, the geopolitical exposure that threatens an asset base or supply chain, the acquisition that changes the firm's trajectory.
The principal founder-bootstrapped Spatial Networks — the geospatial company behind the Fulcrum SaaS platform — over nearly two decades, through to a private-equity majority sale in 2019 where he retained significant ongoing equity. He currently serves as Board Chairman at a geospatial AI startup, close enough to the current wave of the industry to speak as a participant rather than an observer. The operating credential is matched by two decades of risk intelligence work spanning hostile-environment access, geopolitical exposure analysis, supply chain risk, and OSINT and GEOINT tradecraft. Clients engage CDG because the counsel is grounded in present practice, not archived memory.
CDG is a deliberately lean, principal-led practice. No more than three concurrent engagements, no junior staff, no chase after volume. Revenue is a function of impact and fit, not a target. The firm accepts Board seats and advisor roles selectively, with a bias toward early-stage dual-use companies with international reach — particular fluency in Africa and the Middle East, and active engagement experience across Latin America, South Asia, Central Asia, and East Asia.
Additional capabilities outside the described scope are discussed in conversation with qualified principals under appropriate terms.
